Grade 1E, class K3 low smoke no halogen flame retardant power cable for nuclear

The product is used for electric equipment connection and electric energy transmission inside and outside of reactor containment in nuclear power station.

 

1. Scope of application
The product is used for electric equipment connection and electric energy transmission inside and outside of reactor containment(class K3) of nuclear island in nuclear power station.

2. Standard
The product is manufactured according to Q/320282BND054-2008 ¡°Grade 1E class K3 low smoke no halogen flame retardant power cable for nuclear power station with rated voltage 0.6/1KV¡±

3. Type of cable
Grade 1E class K3 copper conductor XLPE insulated polyolefin sheathed low smoke no halogen (class A or B) flame retardant power cable for nuclear power station
Grade 1E class K3 aluminum conductor XLPE insulated polyolefin sheathed low smoke no halogen (class A or B) flame retardant power cable for nuclear power station
Grade 1E class K3 copper conductor XLPE insulated XLPE sheathed low smoke no halogen (class A or B) flame retardant power cable for nuclear power station
Grade 1E class K3 aluminum conductor XLPE insulated XLPE sheathed low smoke no halogen (class A or B) flame retardant power cable for nuclear power station

4. Operating characteristics
1¡¢rated voltage U0/U 0.6/1kV;
2¡¢Permissible continous operating temperature of conductor is 90¡æ;
3¡¢permissible short circuit temperature of conductor: no higher than 250¡æ, no longer than 5s
4¡¢Ambient temperture for cable installation shall be no lower than 0¡æ;
5¡¢Insulation adopts double layer structure;
6¡¢Insulation resistance constant shall be no smaller than 30000M¦¸•km;
7¡¢The thermal life evaluation result of cable shall meet the requirement of use life no less than 40 years;
8¡¢complete cable shall pass class A or B combustion bunched cable test;
9¡¢The smoke density test of complete cable burning shall meet the requirement of GB/T17651 
10¡¢Insulation and sheath of complete cable take precipitation gas test when burning, the test result shall meet that HCL emission shall be no more than 5mg/g, PH value shall be no smaller than 4.3, conductivity shall be no more than 10¦Ìs/mm.
